講者簡介:

台北萬華出生。2006年,首次為雲門2編創,其後擔任雲門2駐團編舞家、助理藝術總監。2014年接任藝術總監。

鄭宗龍從擺攤叫賣的萬華幼年,汲取創作靈感,作品交織街頭張力與人生百態,獨樹一幟,在歐美亞澳舞台演出。曾獲德國No Ballet當代編舞比賽、西班牙MASDANZA編舞大賽、羅馬編舞大賽等大獎。2011年作品《在路上》獲得台新藝術獎「年度表演藝術獎」。2016年,國家兩廳院TIFA台灣國際藝術節委託鄭宗龍創作《十三聲》,挖掘台灣古老、俚俗、在時代洪流中逐漸凋零的文化記憶,受到觀眾及舞評的熱烈回響。2017年春天,受邀為澳洲雪梨舞蹈團編創《大明》,並於2018年巡演巴黎及歐洲各國。


主持人簡介

胡恩威先生

進念聯合藝術總監暨行政總裁。香港跨媒體文化人,跨界劇場及多媒體劇場先鋒。

畢業於香港大學建築系及英國倫敦建築聯盟學院修讀建築。從事編劇、導演、監製和策劃等多方面的工作,劇場作品逾六十齣,作品曾應邀於世界多地上演,主題涵蓋文學、歷史、時政、建築、宗教。胡氏尤擅於運用多媒體科技從事舞台創作,其創作的「多媒體建築音樂劇場」系列開創香港劇場界的先河。2009年,胡氏策劃了香港首個以建築為主題的「建築是藝術節」,探索建築的各種藝術可能。

CHENG TSUNG-LUNG

Artistic Director of Cloud Gate 2 / Choreographer

 

CHENG Tsung-Lung’s family owns a slipper factory. Hawking slippers on the sidewalks was part of his childhood and adolescent life. The dynamics of street life and pedestrians’ behavior later became the source of inspiration for his choreography.

After graduating from the Dance Department of Taipei National University of the Arts in 2002, CHENG performed internationally with Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan. He was the resident choreographer for Cloud Gate 2 from 2006 to 2010 and has served as its artistic director since 2014. He will be serving as the Artistic Director of Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan from 2020.

Honored as “Artist of 2011” by the Performing Arts Reviews, Taiwan, and awarded the Performing Arts Fellowship by the Asian Cultural Council, New York, in 2012, CHENG also won the top prizes in No Ballet International Choreography Competition, Germany; the Premio Roma Danza International Choreography Competition, Italy; the MASDANZA Choreography Competition, Spain; and the Taishin Arts Award, Taiwan.

CHENG had choreographed and restaged works for Transitions Dance Company at the Laban Centre, London; Expressions Dance Company, Brisbane; the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts; and Focus Dance Company, Taiwan. In 2017, he created Full Moon for Sydney Dance Company.
