『已經快失傳的唸歌文化，要用什麼樣貌再現呢？』
唸歌是台灣傳統藝術，是以自彈自唱、半說半唱的方式，用台語『四句聯』說故事，目前受到時代衝擊呈現失傳、斷層的危機。微笑唸歌團的工作，是如時光機器般；把古早說唱娛樂—唸歌，搬移到現代。2016年的《唸啥咪歌》專輯ＭＶ，獲得德國紅點設計獎，就讓唸歌文化往前踏了一步。
藝術家介紹
楊秀卿
她是人間國寶台灣說唱藝師。4歲失明，12歲展開唸歌生涯，用最鄉土、最親切的聲調與台語；以走唱、賣藥團、廣播方式，唱遍台灣大街小巷，並自創『口白式唸歌』，成為一代大師。
台灣微笑唸歌團
為維護優良傳統，投入推廣台灣說唱文化—唸歌，唸歌團軸心人物儲見智與林恬安，除了與楊秀卿老師等老藝人學習外，將傳統據目改編，並以創新、跨界的方式，於音樂、視覺方面做多種嘗試，試圖讓唸歌文化再次興盛。

About the performance
“Liam Kua” is a Taiwanese traditional art form facing the crisis of succession. Taiwan Liamkua Smile Folksong Group turns this old-time entertainment back to the modern life like a time machine. Combining Liām-kua with modern elements, the music video “What are you singing?”won a Best of Best Red Dot Award 2016, taking Liām-kua culture a big step forward.
About the artists
A living Taiwanese national treasure, Yang Show King is a Liām-kua master who has lost her sight at 4 and started her career of Liām-kua at the age of 12. With her most native and intimate voice, she tours around Taiwan by storytelling, minstrel show, and radio broadcasting. Self-created the narrative style Liām-kua and became a grand master of it.
The Taiwan Liamkua Smile Folksong Group is learning from Liām-kua masters like Yang Show King, and together they adapt traditional plots and themes in the modern setting, along with innovative ideas and cross-genre collaborations in music and visual arts
