節目簡介
CHAT六廠藝術家駐場計劃
旨在為國際藝術家提供一個接觸香港紡織歷史及文化的機會，並在他們的創作過程中提供支援。此項目鼓勵駐場藝術家跟本地社群合作、舉辦講座及工作坊，在藝術上有所發展；並促進跨文化交流，孕育創意與創新點子。
藝術家介紹
康雅筑
她的作品通常透過紡織技藝表現，過程包括隨著時間的演變所產生的事故、質變，並接受其自然形成的狀態，包含不穩定的媒介如植物、陽光、鹽和水，亦思考環境可持續發展的可能性。她從旅行經驗和豐富的世界編織歷史中汲取靈感；並且探討身份、人與自然之間的關係以及社會環境議題。

About the programme
CHAT Artist-in-Residence programme
The programme aims to offer international artists the opportunity to engage in Hong Kong’s textile history and culture and support their creative processes. Residency artists are encouraged to achieve artistic development through collaborations with locals, artist talks and workshops, fostering cross-cultural exchanges of ideas and innovations.
About the artists
Kang Ya-chu Kang embraces the accidents, mutations and accretions of surface and detail with time in the creative process, while accepting that nature will have its way. That many mediums are changeable, variable, transient and fluid: such as plants, sun, salt and water. Her works also explore environmental development sustainability. Inspired by travel experience and the abundant world history of weaving, Kang’s works reflect identity, social environmental issues and relationships between mankind and nature.
