節目簡介
M+與光華新聞文化中心共同呈獻，精選主要由國家電影中心修復的修復影像。包括從百年前的默片到1970年代大師武俠經典作，從國語片到台語片，從紀錄片到劇情片，寥寥六個放映節目，已可展示影片修復的無限可能，以及其對保存電影文化遺產的意義。台港兩地專家亦將出席座談會，交流電影修復的經驗，更有台灣音樂家黃凱宇為兩部默片現場配樂。

About the programme
M+ Screenings: Restored Images from Taiwan is co-presented by M+ and Kwang Hwa Information and Culture Center, bringing together a selection of moving image works, spanning from silent films of the 1910s to a martial arts classic of the 1970s, the selected works—in Mandarin and Taiwanese—are mostly part of the Taiwan Cinema Digital Restoration Project of the Taiwan Film Institute. Alongside the weekend-long screening programme is also a seminar by film restoration experts from Hong Kong and Taiwan, and a live score by Taiwanese musician fish.the for the silent film screenings.

Raining in the Mountain is truly the wuxia cinema masterpiece of Director King Hu, at the peak of his powers. In this film, rather than addressing Zen ideas, King Hu instead engaged in a straightforward depiction of human greed and, ultimately, how the dharma can calm these troubled waters.
